About the sets: All coins in the 2009-S Proof Set were intended to have a Cameo or Deep Cameo Finish. The 2009 Proof Set is notable for containing the very first Native American Dollar. The Native American Dollar series debuted in 2009 with a one-year-only design which commemorates the spread of Three Sisters Agriculture around 1000 A.D. and features a Native American woman planting seeds in a field of corn, beans and squash. The Native American Dollar series retained the Sacagawea obverse from the previous Sacagawea Golden Dollar program.
